Vanda Aliance Orchids...
Vanda Aliance Orchids come for S.E. Asia and most are very tropical. Today's breeding has produced hybrids that are easy to grow and flower. Some plants can even flower continuously for months at a time before they need a rest. In our list we have a few crosses that are easy to grow and bloom given sufficient light. All Vandas have very spectacular flower displays when blooming. When your order from our list please note the following terms & abbreviations in our plant descriptions:

V. Miss Joaquim "Shimonishi" Mericlone. Terete vanda. The strongest growing and best blooms of the V. Miss Joaquim are the Shimonishi. The blooms are larger and more colorful than the standard. This is a favorite of lei makers because of the size and color. Do not confuse this with the typical plate garnish orchid flower. It is a fast and easy grower but needs a lot of light to bloom well. Mature plants can bloom constantly. These are sold as bare root bundled cuttings aprox. 8" to 10" in length which is the most common form and size for propagation. Grow as any Vanda placing them in a pot or basket and let them go wild. No special care is needed to get them rooted. Vanda Miss Joaquim "alba" Mericlone. We have a limited amount of this rare Terete vanda. Very similar to the "Shimonishi" Miss Joaquim, but with pure white flowers. They grow easily but are a little slower and are more delicate looking than the "Shimonishi" These are sold as bare root bundled cuttings aprox. 8" to 10" in length which is the most common form and size for propagation. Grow as any Vanda placing them in a pot or basket with good light and let them go wild. No special care is needed to get them rooted. Ascda Suksamran Sunlight 'Gold' Mericlone. Tall spikes of nice round 3" clear yellow orange flowers on fast growing plants. Blooming size 5" wood basket Perreiraara Motes Leprechaun 'Haiku Mint' Mericlone. New.
